Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and App Lane OÜ ("we," "us," or "Company") regarding your use of HRM Heart Rate Monitor ("HRM"). By downloading, installing, or using HRM, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use HRM. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to these Terms on your behalf.
License
HRM is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use HRM on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of HRM or its content.
Subscription
HRM requires an annual subscription after a free trial period. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your account will be charged at the start of each billing period. No refunds are provided for unused subscription time. Manage or cancel your subscription at iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Health Disclaimer
HRM is intended for general fitness and wellness purposes only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Heart rate measurements provided by the app may not be completely accurate and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice or in emergency situations.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions. You use HRM's health monitoring features at your own risk. App Lane OÜ is not responsible for any health-related decisions made based on data provided by the app.
Service Availability
HRM is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
Third-Party Services
HRM integrates with third-party services including Apple Health, the Apple App Store, and Bluetooth device protocols. These services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for issues, changes, or discontinuation of any third-party service, even if such changes affect the functionality of HRM.
Intellectual Property
All content, code, and materials included in or made available through HRM are the exclusive property of App Lane OÜ and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
HRM is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, beyond what is required by applicable law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, App Lane OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use HRM. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for HRM in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless App Lane OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of HRM.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to HRM if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users or our business. You may stop using HRM at any time by deleting it from your devices. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive any termination.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zurich, Switzerland. Any disputes arising from your use of HRM are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
